The work beneath the work

Medicine is the starting point.
Possibility is the work.

Medical training teaches you to see the person in front of you. My work asks a second question: what becomes possible when doctors can see more paths for themselves?

I studied medicine at the International Medical University and the University of Warwick before returning to Malaysia. Clinical work gave me a close view of both the demands doctors face and the many ways medical knowledge can contribute beyond one conventional path.

Together with Selina Chew, I co-founded Medic Footprints Malaysia. In 2023, it evolved into Disruptive Doctors—a platform built around careers, learning, community and healthcare innovation.

A medical path that kept widening.

International Medical University

Completed a BMedSc (Hons) before continuing medical training in the United Kingdom.

2014

University of Warwick

Graduated with an MB ChB and began the clinical chapter of the journey.

Returned to Malaysia

Brought clinical experience home and developed a closer view of the profession’s pressures and possibilities.
